Richard ("Rick") Koudys passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 61 years. Rick will be remembered by his wife Juliette, daughters Sarah and Stacey Koudys, and stepdaughters Caitlin and Daina Szczepanowski. Rick also leaves behind his parents Bill and Mary Koudys, brother David Koudys, and first wife Marianne. Predeceased by his sister Heather LaPenna. Rick will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Rick was born and lived in the Niagara Region his whole life and was an avid collector of antiques. He was a longtime member of the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group, the Niagara Antique Power Association, and the Wheelmen Cycling Club. He worked as a maintenance electrician at Dofasco until his retirement. A memorial will be held for Rick on Fri., April 9th at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, at 1040 Balfour St., in Fenwick. Due to Covid-19 Provincial Regulations, there is a limited capacity for guests at the memorial service. Registration must be done in advance at bethanycrc.ca, beginning Wed. April 7th. For those unable to attend in person a livestream link will be provided on the church's website. Donations in memory of Rick can be made to a charity of your choice.
