I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Al, I was just recently talking and reminiscing with Pete Broussard about Mr. Al. He had an impact on generations of young men in Biloxi. He was an assistant scout leader with Mr Klein Coquet when my dad was a scout, and was my scout leader when I came along. As a young boy I would see him every Friday at the Biloxi High Games and he would always give me a hug, and ask me when I was going to be 12 (the age to start boy scouts). He will certainly be missed in the Biloxi Community but his impact will continue on for future generations based on the lessons he taught to his many many boys.

Rest in peace Mr Al. You were the heart and soul of Troop 213. You helped raise a lot of outstanding young men who became outstanding citizens. I really looked forward to going to Scout meetings on Monday nights and camping at Camp Wilkes. You also made time to entertain the kids at annual KC kids parties put on by Council 1244. Biloxi has lost a real outstanding Civic leader.

It was always great to see Mr. Al at Camp Wilkes Summer Camp every year, he was a good man. I hope the family is doing well.
