I am so glad I met you on my journey through life, And, that because of you, my brother found his soulmate in your daughter, and a father friend in you. And, I found an extended family. I always think of you smiling and being there whenever you were needed. You gave so much and will be remembered by me for the strength, caring, and selfless way you loved and helped your family and by marriage...mine. I send hugs and love to all of you. I am saddened by your loss, and lifted because we know his spirit shines brightly in heaven. ♥

As a long time family friend I always enjoyed talking with Art. His smile would light up a room. Enjoyed working with Art on many Army and Navy related logistic missions. His knowledge of transportation, mobilization and logistical operations was outstanding. I will miss seeing and talking with Art. God Bless his family.

Some of my fondest memories is working for Art in the Transportation Dept. 1960-1968. He gave me so much support as I left for Iceland in 1968. Rest in Peace my friend and fondest Supervisor. Lou Penton-Pearce.
