My Uncle who we called "Sanford" was a super nice guy who impressed me in many ways. One was his devotion to the Catholic church. I know he considered being a Catholic priest but finally found a great wife, my aunt Ethel Schindler. They created a wonderful family of my cousins in Bay St. Louis, MS

I will never forget the fact that he provided me with my very first automobile. He virtually gave me his 1947 Ford for $75.00. It was a standard shift- V8 engine and convertible coupe.

I can't say enough about what a good person he was and I know he's in heaven.

I would love to meet with him again, knowing he's in heaven.

Ethel and family, Though we mourn our loss of Claude, we rejoice at the wonderful legacy he leaves for his family, friends & community. We first met Claude & Ethel many years ago while he working for the Railroad. Our lives took different paths as we changed jobs and raised our families, but Claude Green and his family will always held a special place in our heart and with many fond memories. He was a man who supported his family with hard work and love. Try to remember that although he's absent from this earth he is at home with our heavenly father. May you all find strength, comfort, peace and hope in the days ahead.
