I am SHOCKED at what has happened. I personally met Odell Fite and Brandon Breland on October 25, 2005 @ 3am. I was staying with my mother in Perkinston because my home in louisiana was damaged by Katrina.
The night of my Birthday 10/24 i had some spicy food which caused me to have very bad chest pains.

At 3am 10/25 i was on my way to Stone County Hospital and i couldnt find it. I then called 911 from my cell phone because i was in serious pain.

Odell Fite and Brandon Breland both came to my aid and helped me get medical attention. They were both very nice guys. 2 of the best police officers i had ever met.
My thoughts are with the Fite / Breland families.

I am Odell's sister, and I would like to thank each one of you for you prayers and words of encouragement during this time.
I just wish each of you could have met my brother, he was one of a kind, he showed compassion for each person he met, he always showed respect for anyone he came in contact with as a police officer, he did not let the fact that you were doing something against the law change the way he treated you. He would always say: you have made a mistake in your life, but I will treat you just as I treat everyone.
He will be missed beyond words.
