I don't know if you guys all know the story behind this house and just how special it truly meant to Nonnie. When they were first married and living in an apt in Biloxi, Paw Paw AJ worked offshore. They saved all their money under the mattress. Nonnie said they spent his time home counting their money. AJ drew this house on the back of a cardboard box. He showed Faye and said this is the house I'm going to build you on day. She laughed it off. They kept that piece of cardboard and many houses and years later, they built their dream. I'm not sure if hurricane Katrina stole it, along with the house, but up until then, they kept it all those years. In all my years I've never known such a love. Faye was from Tupelo MS. She moved to Biloxi at 18. She met AJ and it was love at first sight. They were married within two weeks. She shared so many loving stories. She said she could never stay mad at him. He always came back with such sweet and loving ways that melted her heart. Thank you both.
