It has been three years since I have written in this book but I have missed you and love you as much as if you were still here. I have moved from the house we loved but I am very well and content with my duplex and, God and Savior for companions. Football season is coming and I will try again to get through a game without you. We had our 22 yr anniversary Aug 2nd. See you soon. Your loving wife, Jan

Today is a hard but joyful day for you, My dear husband. I know that MawMaw and PawPaw are with you and Ann Hammons. I thank God for you and your family.

Also, Happy Anniversary, again. It was 19 years on the 2nd of August and we will make that 20th we always wanted next year. Love you, Your wife, Jan

It has been two years now - actually, over two years - and it seems more like six months in so many ways. God has blessed me with comfort and peace. I miss my Sunday sidekick. I still watch our Pastor Stanely and Pastor David Jerimiah on sundays. You would have loved First United Methodist Church services. I can't seem to get through a foot ball game without you. See you soon, Love. Your wife, Jan
