Joseph "Fabian" Taranto

Joseph "Fabian" Taranto, 90 years old, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on January 19th, 2019, in the arms of loved ones in his daughter's home. Fabian was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS. He graduated from Biloxi High School, served in the US Army, and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated Taranto Amusement, a family business in Biloxi for 65 years. He was an avid boater and was happiest spending time on the water.
He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony "Caveman" Taranto, mother, Louise Kulivan Taranto, brother, Arnold Taranto and brother, Wally Taranto.
Survivors include his son, Darrell Taranto, son, Tony Taranto (Kim), daughter, Tori Taranto Davidson (Tony), granddaughter, Lauren Taranto Braden (Seth), granddaughter, Katie Taranto, granddaughter, Shelby Taranto, sister, Toni Taranto Padgett and grandson, Dallas Gollott.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, from 5:00pm-8:00pm, with an 8:00pm Memorial Service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe, Biloxi. A private burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Lord Is My Help, Ocean Springs.
