Happy Birthday Mike, you would be 46 today. It makes me so sad that we have missed all these years with you. The only thing that gives me peace is that we will be with you again when we all meet up yonder. Love always my sweet boy

Happy Birthday to you my sweet brother, you are still loved and missed so much. We will see each other again one day in Heaven where we'll spend eternity with our Lord and Savior, what a glorious day that will be. I love you and miss you. Love, Sharon

As I approach some big decisions in my life, I have thought of you often recently. I wish you were here for me to talk about all these things with. I often wonder how different my life would be if you were still here to provide your advice, love, and teachings that a son could only find from his father. I don't know why God took you home early, but I do know and search for comfort in the fact that God has this whole thing planned out, and God knows what he's doing. Even though our time was cut short, there are still many memories and lessons from you I will never forget. The way you loved, respected, and overall just the way you treated all the people you cared about will stay with me forever, and I hope that I can emulate that... I remember memories such as all the cutting up on the go-kart, fishing at cake lake and frying what we caught while playing donkey kong, playing basketball with you uncle Lee and Cody in the front yard, and these have been something I am thankful for. Losing someone you thought would always be around to make more memories teaches you their value, and to be thankful for all the good memories made. You had a great heart for all those you cared about, and I hope that one day when I have a child, that I can follow your example and strive to make my kid laugh and be happy, and love them so unconditionally, the same way it always seemed you were striving to make me happy and show me the love you have for me. If you could come down and check out how the years have unfolded, you would be extremely proud of Mom and Aunt Becky. Those two women did a great job since you've been gone, doing everything they can to raise me right and doing whatever they could to help me with whatever goals or needs I have had. I hope this message reaches you. I love you. I miss you. One day I will see you again with Jesus and we will make up for all the lost time.... until then, watch over and protect us.
