Clara Estelle Tomlinson, age 83 and a resident of Biloxi, passed away on March 26, 2018, surrounded by many loved ones, after living a full and wonderful life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucas Pucheu and Irma Lyons Pucheu; beloved husband, of over 55 years, Richard Eugene Tomlinson, Sr.; and a son, Richard Eugene Tomlinson, Jr.
Clara is survived by two children, Claire Weems and Don Tomlinson; five grandchildren, Julie Toche, Richard Ward, Joseph Weems, Angela Richardson, and Kevin Tomlinson; and seven great-grandchildren, Tre', Jordan, and Palmer Toche, Harper-Lee, Porter and Thomas Richardson and Connor Weems.
Clara was a career military spouse and lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was born and raised in Bay St Louis; and before graduating from Bay High in 1952, became their first female class president. Clara loved to read and do crossword puzzles every day in ink. She was a diehard Saints football fan, and her favorite shows were always American Idol and Days of Our Lives.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
