I recently attempted to reconnect
with Roland after several years away.
Even though he has been gone several
years, for me it is a fresh loss.
We were best buddys for a long time, and my memories of our paling around
are joyful ones. I will always remember
his signature "ha!" laugh. Roland
will always be number "1" in my book.
God Bless my good buddy.

Thank you Anthony for contacting me to let me know this guestbook is available, and thanks Ronald for generously creating this as a lifetime tribute/opportunity to share with others..keeping my best buddy Roland alive with us here til we meet up with him on that other side of the veil.
This is so great. Of all my friends and family that have taken that trip back home. It's cool, that's where we all venture back to one day. I feel a loss , the memories, now and again. But with Roland, I just want my buddy to be here still in the flesh to hang out with. Go to Seahawk games, just have his company doing the every day stuff. Just going to a retail store to enjoy his talent with people, seeing him work a good deal on a new computer. Toying with, teasing a bit, putting at ease the sales person.
I miss just all the simplest times with you Roland. Maybe they were just that more appreciated by us both as that last year we knew how important each day was to savor.
Well, I'll be checking in here and sharing my memories.
Dang Dude, of everyone I miss you the best. I am at peace with all I know that have moved on but with you I am selfish. I wish you were here with me. Kidding me, giving me that stern quiet look with a wry smile behind it when I used to finish your sentences for you when you paused during conversation.
God Bless all your family and friends, thanks for being you Roland. I feel your presence still, thanks for checking in on your buddy Steve now and again.
