I became "fast" friends with Mr. Thompson when I first met him at the VA. I am sorry that he had to leave so soon after, but he will never be forgotten. I will always remember his "slick" remarks and "sneaky" eyes. He was a good man. I am sorry for the loss, but he is better off than we are. May God Bless your family and may he forever be your Comforter.

I have nothing but fond childhood memories spent at Huffer Rd of "Grandpa Thompson" always so kind and fun. He will surely be missed and I send my deepest condolences to the family.

I will miss him. He was a great man. I will always remember watching the History Channel with him back when he lived on Huffer Road in Hilton, NY. I learned a lot from him, and will always be grateful for knowing him. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family.
