Dear Daddy,
It's the eve of your birthday, you would have been 88 years old. I keep thinking back to your 84th birthday when Geoff and I surprised you. It was the best and absolutely priceless! I miss you so much; our talks, my visits and just sharing normal day stuff! Eddy and I talk or text everyday. He just went through a very scary hurricane. "Irma" consumed the entire state she was that large! It's been a very active season as I write this Hurricane Maria is battering Puerto Rico.
Next week is the new TV season and Blue Bloods will be returning to its Friday night time slot. You'll be happy to know that Eddy and I will be maintaining the "tradition" and I've also been able to get several friends hooked too!
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Daddy. Know that I miss you and Mommy so much.

Love you always, your first born,
Janie aka: "sugarfoots"

Dearest Daddy,
It's hard to believe that tomorrow marks three years since you left us. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you or want to pick up a phone to talk to you. Right now I'm watching Blue Bloods, even though it's a rerun, it gives me comfort to keep the tradition alive. I have a bunch of my friends now hooked too! ION TV has the show on all day on Thursdays, so we all watch. They've become diehard fans like me!
Your firstborn grandson married Melissa in May in Kansas. It was a beautiful day and a very heartfelt ceremony. Eddy walked me down the aisle as Geoff had asked his Dad to be his Best Man. I know you and Mommy had the best seats and Mom made sure the sun shone on their wedding day. I gave Melissa one of Mom's bracelets to wear as her something borrowed. They're going on a three week cruise to Hawaii in October and I'm going to pet sit my "four-legged" dogs!
Give Mommy a kiss from me and know that you're missed every second, minute, hour of the day.

Love always, your firstborn,
Janie

Would still like to pass on letters I have from your Dad to mine. He writes about the NCPD and your Mom Kay. It's sad for me to just throw them out without trying to contact you once again. Please email me (Karen- daughter of Bob Weston former NCPD) [email protected]
