I am shocked and saddened to learn of Harry`s passing. He was a wonderful friend, always with a positive outlook on life gentle in manner and providing encouragement and joy to all of us who knew and loved him. Sincerest condolences to all his Family

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Harry. He and I worked for the City of Plantation years back. He was the best boss I ever had. If it wasn't for his guidance, I wouldn't have been the Public Works Director. I will miss him. JOSEPH R. Spero

Dear Bob: I was so sorry to hear that Harry had passed away. Although it has been many years, I remember you both from when we were kids on Merwyn Avenue - playing games on the front porch in the summer, putting on crazy plays in the back yard, riding bikes and many other things I can't recall!

You and your family have my deepest sympathy.

To the dear sweet gentle man who walked with me as we grew together side by side over the many years during and after Parkland. You are always in my heart and will be missed ever so much. We laughed and cried and shared so many stories of our families.........yours of whom I express my deepest sadness in their loss. You were an amazing son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and friend to so many. Rest in peace "Mr. Mertz."
