I just heard about her passing a little over 4 years ago and I am so sorry! I worked with her for a long time at Perry Middle. Some of my funniest memories are with Kathleen! Once I told her I may not be able to sit with her at the next faculty meeting because she kept making me crack up with comments she'd whisper to our table! When we'd grade work together, she'd have some pretty hysterical comments about things the kids had written. One of our best end of year teacher parties was at her house. She was so much fun and I miss working with her. Prayers to your family.

My Dear Katie friend here are my memories of you. Full of life,fun,joy and dancing. You were my best friend and I loved you so dearly and you know that. We enjoyed lunch out, movies and dancing.
We had many dancing nights at US Steak House and The City Pub. Where we were on display many nights remember the night your feet slipped out from under you (those high Heel shoes). The guys picked you up and everybody yelled "Katie we want and instant replay"? Well actually that happened a couple of times so funny. We had many good memories from talking serious, crying, laughing and keeping each other straight. Oh, I never liked playing cards with you because you always won !!!Never knew our lives
would be cut so short wanted to grow old with you. I thank Mary for introducing us remember she said "Mary Lou you gotta meet my Mom think you would get along great you like the same things". Boy was she right we loved everything the same just as we both loved our children and grandchildren and adored them. You lit up my life Katie and I will miss you like crazy. You had several favorite songs one "I Hope You Dance. Katie I will miss you and everything we shared I feel like the "winner" for meeting you. I will never forget your laugh, your smile and your legs were longer than mine.
I Love you and I Hope You Dance in heaven am sure you are. May you rest in peace and your family find the healing they need from your loss. We will celebrate your life

Katie was not only my good teacher friend, member of the "East Side" car pool, and dancing partner for the past few years but a role model for me to look up to! We loved to talk about having fun and spending time with our families. I will especially miss her on those Friday nights when we would dance away the hours at our favorite City Pub. Her joy for living was contagious and I will never forget her.

Dear family;

The loss of my "Big sister-in-law" is a deep hurt for me.

I thanked her privately, during her last days, for being instrumental with my opportunity of meeting and marrying her youngest sister,Rita. I also thanked her, not just of late, but on many occassions, for being such a good hearted sole, with her help to many of the family. I also thanked her for being such a good sister-in-law to me.

She was a Christian woman and kept true to her morals, in a world that too easily strays away. I'm sure God will reward her for that. She truly has touched the hearts and minds of many a child and adult alike, with her abilities, through kindness and love.

I'm sure Kathleen and Rita, are dancing and laughing in Heaven, and waiting to be joined again by all of her family,friends and love ones.

Kathleen, may you be at peace and happiness forever. Love ya,
Your appreciative Brother-in-law Bob
