I know time doesn't heal the hole in your heart.....you just get used to living with that hole and smiling and saying "hi" whenever that rainbow appears when it seems like it shouldn't. Strength and love to you!

On 2/7/2007, the best man in my life passed away. Although his physical body might not be here, his thoughts are still with us. This morning on February 7th, the first thing I see when I am in the car is a rainbow, the sign he said he would send before he passed. We saw a speaker today at my school. One of the first points he brought up was how an inspirational male figure passed away in his life at a young age and it was his grandfather. My brother and I looked at each other knowing that he was sending signs. Today is five years exactly from his passing. I thank him for all of the contributions he made to my life. Even though I feel like I'm talking to myself in this note, I know that he is reading this right now and trying to comfort me and I thank him for being the best father ever.
