We were very, very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Because we really haven't been a family in over ten years, Johnny and I had no idea of the health challenges he was experiencing.

Not too long ago, Tom visited our sons at their immokalee produce location. They were surprised, but, enjoyed the visit. Tom told them "Johnny and Claire are lucky, they have grandbabies." A surprise, typical Tom.

Johnny talks frequently of the "good ole days in Pompano". Tom was nicknamed "Mick" because he was such a great outfielder (I think); best darn baseball player, that Mick was. He was especially fond of Mick cause he always brought the bubble gum for Johnny and Ricky Collier. Was he a surfer or greaser? Tom was a surfer!

Me, I'll remember, fondly, our arguments about his 2 seater vs my '72 MGB. I always won. Thank you, Tom, for the pool tips you gave me in your little house. Rack em. I will never forget how he consoled me when a friend made fun of my Brooklyn accent. That friend shall remain nameless. Boy, I have come a long way.

We will keep Judy, Jaime, Tommy and Delores in our daily prayers as well as the rest of his family and friends.

We had more in common than our differences; Johnny and I both have been working since we were 15. Been packing tomatoes peppers cucumbers seasonally since 1974. This was our year to travel; God had other plans for us. It's all good, we were where we were supposed to be.

Rest In Peace, Froggy. May God bless you and keep you. Johnny Claire Jay Glenn Lauren and the entire Johnson family.

Dearest Judy Jaime and Tommy and Family
I am so sorry for your loss, so many fond memories flood into my mind when Tom was our neighbor on 6th Court in Pompano. He was such a focused, hard working man, then you Judy, came into his life and we watched him transform into a husband, father and remain a dedicated hard working guy. I laugh and cry when I think of all the good times and sad times. From your wedding, how he cared so deeply through your health concerns, to the birth of beautiful Jaime, then Tommy. You were and are like family.
After you moved to Delray, we didn't get to see each other as often, but like family that bond always remained strong. I only wish I was there to hug you all.
It is with heartfelt sadness I send my sympathy and love. I pray the Lord will comfort you in your grief, and keep you strong. Tom was an amazing man and a blessing to know and love.
