You were always like an older brother to me Wally, you and Ann were my rock. How many times have I sought advice from you both over the years. I will forever miss our talks and you're thoughtful advice. You both are forever in my thoughts.

Wally,
Always smiling, upbeat and happy!
That is how I remember you....forever.

I never met Mr. Elfers but always admired his tenacity when I was working at the Lauderhill Water Plant in the 70's. He never knew it, but he served as a role model for me all my life. I was happy when I got to work with Bill Elfers in Plantation. I am sorry for your great loss...

Donna and Tom,
Was very sad to hear of your dads passing. What a great guy he was. And what a great family he raised. He loved the City of Lauderhill and touched the lives of so many. Thank you Wally. My thoughts and prayers are with you! His memory will live on forever. And it is so awesome that the City of Lauderhill museum and Park is named after him. God Bless.
