My deepest sympathy

Dear Dora,

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me about your mom at our last reunion. I remember reading about you and the care you were giving your mom in an email sent to me by John Brown and you told me at our reunion what joy it gave you to take care of your mom the way you did for her final years. I loved hearing all of what you said especially at this time in my life; I lost my dad this year in September . . . he was 97 years old.

I always knew you to be a kind and caring person Dora and, obviously, you grew to be more and more that way with age. I didn't know your mom but as I stated to you before, your cousin Morris lived across the street from me. Your mom was quite a person and has left quite a legacy.

I'm proud to know you and hope to see you again.

With Love,
Eddie Papworth

Morris and Family,
Our sincere condolences on the passing of your mother.
I was fortunate to meet Eva and Al in the early 1960's when I would stop at their diner before going to work at Wilson Sporting Goods.
They were truly wonderful people, and their friendship was well regarded. They were invited to our wedding.
Years later it was a pleasant surprise, Morris, when you became a customer at the Cafe' Milan and learn that you were that young son who worked along his parents at the CDM Diner.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rest in peace, Eva.
