Fannie Ruth Dixon October 9, 2020 Fannie Ruth Dixon, 79, a Syracuse, passed away October 9th at Upstate University Hospital after a short illness. She was predeceased by her son Donnie "Mustafa" Dixon and daughter Quintina Dixon, her siblings, Margaret, Mark and William Dixon, Norma Tape, Gwen Jones and Eldridge Ford, Jr. Fanny was a bar attendant for various bars in Syracuse and retired from Lincoln Elms Group Home where she provided care for special-needs adults. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Robin Pearson of Jacksonville FL, her son, David C. Trotman of Syracuse, her siblings, Martha, James, Sarah and Dexter Dixon, her grandchildren Jemica, Nicole, Marshell, Roderick, Avery, Quintaya, Abu Sufyan and great-nephew, Dondray Tape who she raised. Calling hour will be Saturday 11am to 12pm at Garland Bros. Funeral Home, 143 Martin Luther King West, funeral services to follow at 12pm. Due to Covid-19 precautions, all who attend are asked to wear masks, observe social distancing and during calling hours, with the exception of immediate family, to enter, view and exit. My your soul sleep peacefully Fannie was really nice to me and my family me and my sister played with Tina she was our best friend and Fannie was always sweet to me and my sister rest peacefully beautiful

I remember being your shadow when I was younger, I used to love to come to your house on the weekends, cooking with you, laughing. Going to work with you at G & L. Rest in paradise grandmother.
