Jean.... I always looked for the car in your driveway signaling an open door complete with fresh coffee, cookies and conversations. We have had a number of these visits since my mom passed two years ago. Your kindness and shared words of wisdom were always welcomed and appreciated..... intelligent, thoughtful, compassionate and sprinkled with humor. Walking down memory lane with you and hearing about how you and my mom and her siblings used to play ball across the street with you (you were the youngest one of the group and they always treated you like a sister. How you would always think of my dad as you would travel to Geneva in recent years and recall how he had mentioned a certain barn to you that would someday be a dinosaur. And now all of the old wooden barns are becoming extinct. You always told me how kind my parents were. It was just so lovely to hear those words. Thank you for helping me through the sale of the family homestead. You told me to just not drive by it as it will never be the same. I used to smile when you would tell me you were the Howard Hughes of Ovid as you used to walk to get your mail at the road in your PJs. I stopped to visit you last year on my birthday. My big day came up in conversation and you took off to the front room and came back with a beautiful floral Easter plant . You wanted me to have it...a birthday gift. I will cherish my memories. I just wish we had time for so many more... You have a warm place in my heart and I will miss you, so much. Love you

Sincere condolences to Mark and Lisa and families.

What a sweet, kind lady. I was so saddened to have learned of her passing. My deepest sympathy to her entire family. She will be missed but certainly always remembered.
