Your father will be missed. I had the pleasure to work with him at GE during the sonar upgrades he designed. I learned so much and remember his kindness to a 26yr just getting his life together. We had many good collaborations on the upgrade and I will forever be grateful and will remember him fondly. Claude Roloff

Rick, Dave and Steve, I was saddened to hear that your dad passed away. Please accept my condolences. I read the obituary and I can remember when your dad was putting the finishing touches on the upstairs at the house! He always seemed like a quiet, serious guy to me but I remember some of those long drives to scout camp when he would display such a clever sense of humor. I was in Syracuse a few weeks ago catching up with some high school friends and I took a detour down the street and thought that your dad was one of the last of the old timers left from when we were all growing up there. My guess is that one doesn't find too many neighborhoods like that anymore. It was folks like your dad that helped make it what it was. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.
