Lynn Aloi Obituary

Lynn M. Aloi January 31, 2019 Lynn M. Aloi, 60, of Baldwinsville passed away January 31, 2019. Born on February 12, 1958, Lynn was a devoted mother, loving sister, aunt, and Godmother. She is predeceased by both her parents, Jeanne McDonough Campanelli and Lawrence J. Campanelli Sr. of Auburn, NY. She is survived by her 19 yr. old son, Cameron Aloi, her two brothers and three sisters: Lawrence J. Campanelli (Sharon) of Auburn, James M. Campanelli Seattle, WA., Lorraine Campanelli, Marcellus NY, Lisa Blakeslee (David) Salida, Co., & Amy Casper of Skaneateles, NY. She loved to spend time with her many nieces, nephew, great nieces & great nephews. Lynn graduated from Cayuga Community College and received a bachelors degree from SUNY Empire State College in Human Resources Management. She retired from Federal Express after 15 years as a Human Resource Manager. Lynn had a very giving heart and chose to continue her work in service to help others after retirement. She worked in various jobs as a personal assistant or caregiver for the elderly and disabled and at the Boys and Girls Club in Syracuse N.Y. Lynn had a strong faith and attended Syracuse Vineyard Church for many years, volunteering when she could with outreach programs such as packing meals for "Feed My Starving Children". She was a vibrant woman who loved her family and friends, enjoyed laughter. She was a skilled seamstress and often celebrated her love for her young nieces and nephews by sewing gifts of blankets, christening gowns, Halloween costumes and special occasion dresses. Lynn was a strong, avid swimmer and loved to be by the water whenever she could, either floating in her pool, boating the lake or walking a beach. She loved the sun, the sand and the water of summer; anyone who knew her would agree she was a true sun worshiper! Lynn had a true appreciation of the creative arts and music. She was a multi-talented woman who enjoyed painting and playing the piano. She passed on her strong love of music to her son, Cameron, who now plays multiple instruments. Lynn enjoyed gardening, horseback riding, volunteering at her son's school events and sharing her cooking talents at family gatherings. Lynn will be dearly remembered and missed by all who loved her. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Friday, February 8 at the Vineyard Church, 312 Lakeside Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home, Auburn.
