To the Nolan Family
Thomas was greatly loved by my family, we lived down the street from Nolans and my dad, John McMahon, gave Thomas the nickname Stanley. I laughed thru my childhood with Him. In fact every time I saw Tom I laughed with him. He brought us such joy. One of a kind!!! He will be missed.
My heart goes out to all of you and I pray great memories will bring you comfort.
With love

Tom was one of the funniest people I know. We worked at Kasson Road under often challenging circumstances and he always had something funny to say. When asked how he was his response was always never had a bad day He brightened a room and many days at work. He positively influenced and will be missed by many.

Father...
I laid you to rest on Friday...but way too soon. As much as you had enough of it all, I think you had a little left. As I was putting you to rest I was uneasy, I know it was "finite" that the end was in my hands as I put you in the ground, over your father, it was still surreal. I hope you are smiling down at us all, all 10 of your brothers and sisters, all 8 of your children, all of your grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. You are one of a kind. Never will be duplicated. I love you, I hope that you are now doing what makes you happy....confident that the rest of us follow your path, to make everyone around us happier and lives easier
I love you Father I will see you later, till we meet again...

To the Wonderful Nolan Family, especially my Godmother, Aunt Janet
I was so very sad to learn of Toms passing. Our families always got together when we were growing up, and I have such special memories of those times.

Although I havent seen Tom in years, my brother, Norb, worked for Nolan supply, and Tom, John, and Peter. He kept us up on what was happening with the Nolan Clan!
I hope all your precious memories of Tom will help you through this difficult time
My love to each and every one of you. The Nolans will always have a special place in my heart.

1985 Tom held my interview at his farm in Marcellus .
I was hired that night.
Had lots of laughs and sometimes butted heads, but all and all it was always fun.
Always had time for a beer after hours and lots of jokes and storys .
RIP Tom !

We had many great times together in our high school years. Great guy who was always a lot of fun to be with. The keg parties and times at the Reservoir were some great times that many of us wont forget. Some where along the way he got the nick name Stanley. My prayers are with
you and your family. RIP Stanley

Growing up, there were four Nolan families attending Our Lady of Lourdes. No one .... classmates, nuns.... could figure out who belonged to who. I was often asked "Are you Kevin's sister?"or "Is Peter your brother?"or my personal favorite,"Don't you have a younger sister also named Kathy?". When I was about 20, I got to know one of these"older brothers" pretty well. That guy, of course, was Tom. It saddens me to hear of his passing. He was funny, kind, smart, charming... just an all-around great person. We had so much fun back then. Life does take us in different directions and although I haven't seen Tom in a while, thinking of him now just makes me smile. From my large Nolan family to Tommy's loved ones, deepest condolences on your loss. Rest in peace, Tommy, and thank you for being the big brother that I never had.

There are no words that will ever express how many lives you touched and how much you meant to so many of us. Though we were not actually family you were my Papa. I would not have been able to make it through those days at Boces without you and will forever treasure those memories and the beautiful cabinet you worked on for me, there will always be a little piece of you in my kitchen and I am so grateful to have had the privilege to know you. My deepest condolences to Your family ❤❤

Dear Nolan Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Toms passing and wish you all my condolences. Almost 40 years ago, my first real job was at Nolan Supply and my first real boss was Tom Nolan. Those years at Nolan Supply were the most formative of my life and I learned so much from Tom, John and Peter and they were the basis for the rest of my career.
All of my memories of Tom are nothing but wonderful. I wish I could put into words how good he was to me and how much I thought of him. God bless you Tom Nolan and thank you for your friendship!
