It was with sadness that I read of the passing of my long time friend Ashley. Even though we were not close after FSU we were in each others thoughts and we did talk accasionally. I will cherish the almost three years we roomed together and the help we gave each other. It was not an easy ride for two students without scholarships but we did make it. Iris, Samantha, Catherine and the rest of the Ahl family remember the good times and peace be with you during this period of your lives.

I was a student of Ashley's in theatre at FSU in the early 70's and can test to his easy-going teaching style. He had great patience with me when I didn't know one end of a hammer from the other. I am sure he would have been surprised to know I taught high school theatre for 16 years and was the head techie. Thanks, Ashley.

To Iris and Katy and all the others who loved Ashley so much, my deep felt sadness for your loss. I know he will remain in your hearts forever and remembered as a great husband, brother, dad and uncle. May he Rest In Peace, free from the pain his illness caused.
