Hope Turner Obituary
Houston, TX - Hope Elizabeth Turner, 30, of Houston, Texas passed there unexpectedly on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Metropolitan Cathedral of Truth, 1110 Rich Bay Road, Havana, FL 32333. Burial will be SUNDAY in Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL. Viewing-visitation is 3-7 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE 850-942-1950. Hope was a 2007 Lincoln High graduate and attended FAMU, pursuing a degree in graphic design. She worked several years locally for Marriott, most recently Residence Inn. She worked for Marriott Corporate and was currently a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines. Hope leaves her love and precious memories to her parents, Henry William (Celestine) Turner, Jr.; brother, Henry William (Krisjana) Turner III and their daughter, London, all of Atlanta, GA; and countless other relatives and friends. Hope's mother, Nadine Riley Turner preceded her in death on November 9, 2002.

I've yet found understanding in my grief. However the memories of our bestfriend trio and the bond we shared as young classmates will stick with me just as it did after we parted elementary school. I empathize with your family's pain and even confusion. May all your friends and family find comfort in knowing you lived a fulfilling life and that you have found peace. Such a sweet spirit, I remembered the night we met President Bill Clinton at the Marriott when he was the guest speaker at FAMU Graduation you were so excited. Excited as the Spirit you left the behind. William your Sister was a humble and beautiful young Lady.

My condolences to the Turner Family. Rest in peace Hope -- You have your eternal wings from God. Although I didn't get to know you as an adult, I remember when your mother was pregnant w/you and i remember a few occasions when I visited Nadine after you were born.

I knew hope through the Jaw Surgery Support Group. Even on the internet, that smile lit up the world. I wish I could of met her in person. To the family I send prayers of strength. To Hope's legacy, I promise to honor it through the patient advocacy efforts in jaw surgery , TMJ surgery, and dental care. She has forever touched all of our lives in the support group and our hearts grieve as hard as your hearts at this time. We must trust in God's will and God's timing. Every event in our lives has a purpose in His divine plan. May God comfort and bless every grieving person with a hole in their heart from Hope's passing.

My thoughts and prayers are with Hope's family. I never met Hope personally. We were both part of the Jaw Surgery Recovery and Support group on Facebook. She was a beautiful young lady. She seemed to be so sweet. I think about her often, when I do I say a prayer for her family. God bless you all. May He give you the comfort that only comes from the Lord Himself.
