To the Thompson and Dixie family I'm praying for God to comfort and strengthen you doing this time of sorrow. Mrs Dixie was my traveling partner, she was a very courageous woman and taught me a many of things as we worked state and national for the betterment of AFSCME workers. She always stood for right. Sleep on Laura you faught a great fight and finished your course now it time to rest in paradise.

Mother Dixie was a true footsoldier and my mentor for over 40 years. Her presence will truly be missed but we all know she is in the hands of our Lord and Savior. May she rest in peace.
