My best friend since our high school years, my sister, my soulmate, my biggest fan. Her devotion to helping others is unsurpassed. So selfless, such a kind soul, so many special qualities in such a small body. Rita, you will always be in my heart.

Rita was our neighbor for many years, I loved listening to her tell me about recipes she shared with me. I still use some of her's, today. She was a very caring and sweet lady. She will be missed.

Rita was one of a kind. She was gentle, caring and giving. She was a good listener and advisor who would help you at the drop of a hat. Rita was very smart and unassuming. I never saw Rita angry. She loved people, all people and never judged you. She valued family. She loved life. She was determined. She accepted her maladies and nothing would slow her down. I loved her dearly and will miss her immensely. It's no wonder her heart gave out. It never rested and constantly worked overtime. Goodbye dear Tita. Thank you for being everything you were to everyone whose hearts you touched of which there were many.
