My sincere and deepest condolences to the family. May God give you strength and peace. When I think of Robert, I see a big smile, followed by a loud outburst of laughter. Robert won't look at you without joking or laughing. That is what I will miss most of all. I would be remiss to not share this story. Years ago, when my mother passed, Robert invited me along with a couple of classmates to watch him play football in New Orleans for the New Orleans Saints. All expenses were paid by Robert. I'm not sure if Robert really knew how important that trip meant to me during that difficult time in my life. But that was the kind of person Robert Wilson was a sweet, kind, fun person. Someone who would give his last to help others. Robert, thanks for the fun, laughter, and your big heart. I will miss you. God took home one of the great ones. Blessings.

To Ms. Geraldean and Mr. James, I am so sorry for your lost. To his wife and kids words can’t describe how sorry I am for Robert’s passing and the sorrow I feel for you all. I grew up with Robert and his siblings Tyrone, Jamika and Shanna. Stephannie was a baby. We all song together in the junior choir at Greater Fellowship and I went to school with Robert. I was a upper classmen and he was a under classmen so yes I’m a few years older than he and a lot of years older than his siblings LOL! Anyway Robert was a great guy that I will never forget. He bragged about my singing from what I was told and I hope he knew I bragged about his. He will truly be missed with that gracious smile and that lovely voice he had; “Another TIGER GONE HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD”! Heaven get ready for a beautiful voice to join your singing angels and don’t forget to represent “Robert” with a mighty roar of The Jefferson County Tigers. RIP
