Martha B Davis
Martha B Davis, 85, of Tallahassee died Monday (9/4) at St. James Health & Rehab in Carrabelle. A native of Tallahassee she has lived here all her life. She had been a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church and worked for a local bank. She and her husband also had founded, owned, and operated the Simmons Moving and Storage Company here in Tallahassee for many years. Martha was an avid reader and enjoyed reading during her quiet hours.
She is survived by her daughter: Patricia B. Dotson of Tallahassee; grandchildren: Robert Wayne Johnson of Tallahassee, LaTrisha Ryan Taylor of Maryland, George Anthony Turicic of Virginia, Kerri Schermmer of Atlanta; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggons Road, Saturday (9/16) from 7 until 8:30 PM. Entombment will be private at MeadowWood Memorial Park.
