Willis Jefferson, Sr.

Tallahassee, FL - Willis Jefferson, Sr., 82, of Tallahassee passed on Monday, January 11, 2021. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Southside Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Saturday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mr. Jefferson was a retired Greyhound bus driver, who later drove for Annette and Astro Bus Charters. He was a member of Tabernacle M.B. Church, where most times he was the first to arrive for services. Survivors include his wife, Mary Thompson Jefferson; daughters: Janice (Andre) Wiggins, Michelle Middleton, Janet Hastings and Vernique (Rev. Marcus) Footman; sister raised as a daughter, Darlene McDonald; son, Julius (Becha) Jefferson; 11 grand and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters: Ruth Paulin and Christine Pettigrew; and numerous other relatives and friends.
