WESTER, James Clinton Jr. 74, was called home to his heavenly Father Saturday, January 9, 2021. He served in the US Army, completing two tours in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. He was a journeyman wireman Project Manager with Southern Electric and a member of the local 915 of the IBEW. He was survived by his wife, Meredith Wester; son, Clint Wester and spouse Tabitha Wester; son, Brad Wester and spouse Stephanie Wester; son, Mitch Wester and spouse Jacquelin Wester; three grandchildren, Aliah Wester, Jackson Wester, and Micah Wester; sisters, Judith Wester Miller, Beverly Wester Harris; and brother-in-law, Bill Harris. He was predeceased by his parents, James Clinton Wester Sr. and Alva Wester; his sister, Carol Cunningham. Service will be held Friday, January 15, at Idlewild Baptist Church.
