Dearest Jo. I'll always remember the first time you came to my house after school. When your mum came to pick you up, it was so funny to realise that our mums had done nursing together. That, my friend, was over 40 years ago. I moved to Australia when I was 12, and just about every holiday I've had back there since, we've managed to catch up. I played my first and only round of golf with you at Opunake, I think it was.
With catching up on Facebook we definitely filled each other in on what had been happening in our lives.
When you told me about your illness, and just how unwell you were, I was devastated for you and your beautiful family.
Steve, Liam and Nick - all my love to you. How lucky you were to have her as partner and mum. She will watch over you always.
Cathy and Johnny, Chris and Jo - thinking of you and your families, sending you love and strength. Xx

Jo-Anne,
lots of memories of Sub Sea days, your smile and your kindness. Your regular visits, bringing dinner and holding a crying baby Alice when Tim was offshore. You were the angel of the witching hours.
It was a pleasure and a privilege to have known you. Our deepest sympathy to all your family.
R.I.P. Jo-Anne
May perpetual light shine upon your soul.
