Dearest Arthur, Zarn, Clint, Kigi, Xanya and Quincy. My deepest condolences whanau. My heart breaks that you have left us too soon. I will miss your cheerful effervescent spirit, my second mum while living in brisbane, every bbq gathering we had, we always found a way to sneak off to bingo or start an all nighter canasta game, with a few drinks and lots of laughs. We also had alot of good laughs at Arthur's expense. I grew to see and know you as the most caring and loving wife, mom and grandmother and friend. There are no words of comfort that can heal your pain, apart from the knowledge that Val is no longer in pain or suffering. Fly high Val, rest peacefully my friend, we will miss your bubbly infectious spirit. Faafetai for all you did for me and my girls. All our love from your samoan melbourne family Jackie, Elena and Shania

Dearest Zarn, Kigi, Xan, & Quincy,
Our hearts ache with you. I did not know mum as well but I feel she is responsible for the life, love and joy that eminates in you all. I remember mum back when I first met her. She hosted us Avondale college girls sleepover at your place. I never knew a mum before, vivacious and vibrant. You could be the target of her jokes but that just made it that much easier to feel like you were part of the family.
In time the void in your heart will get easier, but never forgotten. We love you so much and keep you in our prayers.
Alofa atu,
Your Samoan aiga, Leao, Miliama, & family.
