I will always miss Joe. He was a great partner, lawyer and mentor....

When I started at Strassburger & McKenna in 1967, Joe was no longer there. I don't know what his position had been there - associate, sharer of office space or preceptee, a kind of indentured servitude that was required for bar admission in those days. What I do know is that my grandfather, who co-founded the firm in 1919, told me that Joe was the brightest young attorney he had ever encountered. Joe appeared in front of me a number of times over the course of my 41+ years on the bench, and, although he was no longer young, he was certainly bright. He was highly respected by the bench and bar. You have my sympathy. Sincerely, Judge Gene Strassburger.

I remember Joe as a staunch defender of old Koppers in its losing battle with Mr. Beazer. Joe was a fighter and he will always be remembered. Hobart Richey, one time Vice President and Tax Counsel of Koppers.

Very sorry to hear of Mr. Katarincic's passing.
I always enjoyed our conversations on a wide verity of topics. He was kind and good man, who I always looked forward to hearing from. May he rest in peace.
