February 25, 2018 I was privileged to spend a couple of afternoons with Mr. Kirkpatrick as he shared his life story with me. His was most definitely a life well lived, and I will remember our time together with great fondness.

You don't know me, but I am a genealogist; and Mr. Kirkpatrick was my second cousin. I saw the obituary today and recognized his father's name. My paternal grandmother was Anneatta Louise Kirkpatrick, the sister of Mr. Kirkpatrick's grandfather Joseph Moss Kirkpatrick. In fact, my father, William Joseph Binkley, was named for Joseph Moss.
