Hall Ray Jennings
Watertown - Hall Ray Jennings age 87 of Watertown, died Thursday afternoon, April 11, 2019 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville. Born Aug. 8, 1931 in Norene, Ray was the son of the late Herbert Spencer Jennings and Minnie Curtis Jennings. Ray attended the Norene School and graduated in the Class of 1949 from Watertown High School. He was a member of the Watertown First Baptist Church and a retired 37 year employee of the Ford Glass Plant. Ray enjoyed working with his hands, he never saw anything he couldn't repair and most enjoyed his time on a boat fishing at Center Hill Lake. Ray is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jean Dibrell Jennings; children, Mike (Janice) Jennings, Steve (Leslie) Jennings, Scott (Deanna) Jennings, Phil (Karen) Jennings and Cindy (Mark) Lynch; grandchildren, Christopher (Cathy) Lowrey, David( Melanie) Jennings, Sonia (Brian) Boss, Brandon Jennings, Kaysie Jennings, Andrew (Kalyn) Jennings, Colin (Alicia) Jennings, Cameron Jennings and Reagan Jennings; great grandchildren, Lucas, Sophie, Max, Emerson, Spencer and Peyton; brother, Curtis Dean (Helen) Jennings; niece, Janet Cox. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Watertown First Baptist Church with Bro. Don Mathis and Bro. Ronnie Smith officiating. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and prior to services Sunday at the church. Pallbearers, Christopher and Lucas Lowrey, David, Andrew, Cameron and Colin Jennings, Mark Lynch. Interment at Hunter Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Watertown Library.
