Ms. T and I worked together in the SICU for about 10 years. I could never find myself calling her Diane. I called Ms. T or Ms. Thomas out of respect for her. I continue to visit her in the SICU even after I left the unit. During my tenure in the SICU, Ms. T and talked about everything and anything. However, family was the most significant thing in her life. She spoke very highly of her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of them. We had some things in common. We talked a lot about cooking and we shared quite a few recipes. She was great lady and hard worker. I am going to miss her. My prayers are with her family. May she rest in Peace! All my sympathy! Diane and I worked together for close to 14 years. Beside work, we shared many discussions about life, marriage, and raising children. She would tell it to me straight and laugh about the things we heard from everyone else. She was always hard working, and definitely cared more about her family than anything else. She wanted them to be educated, happy with their careers, and loving to their own families. My prayers are with her family at this time. I will think of her dearly! -- Sarah Hutchison RN, MSN, CCRN, ACM-RN
