I just read about MK's passing in the Vanderbilt magazine and wanted to offer my condolences to her family and close friends. We were in the Honors Psych program together at Vandy and, though we were serious students, also had lots of fun. MK was a beautiful person, inside and out, and I know she is greatly missed by all who were close to her.

I was an undergrad classmate of MK at Vandy, and we had several psych classes together. When I later read of her achievements in the field, I realized that I had witnessed her passion at its earliest stages. Because we were close to each other alphabetically, all these years later I remember her at graduation, her quiet confidence and strength evident to me.
