Shirley was a warm and lovely lady who cherished her family and friends. She brightened a room with her warm smile and genuine politeness to all she touched. The people with whom she worked throughout her life time admired and respected her dedication to them as well as to her administrative duties. Shirley had a broad circle of friends and enjoyed their luncheon gatherings and good camaraderie. She was a graduate of Isaac Litton High School, class of 1950. She loved working with him and other ministers during her forty years at the church. Her kind voice was one heard frequently on the phone and was filled with valuable information about caring for those in need.
Shirley wore "many hats" in professional organizations. She was an organizer of class reunions, church, and civic events. She served as a volunteer at Skyline Hospital and on the Alumni Board of Isaac Litton for 25 years which elected her alumnus of the year.
