To the Platten family — please accept my sincere condolences over Karen’s passing. She was a special lady. I remember covering Elbridge Town board meetings. I had my notebook on my lap. After a few meetings, I found my nameplate on the table where she sat with a chair for me too so I had an easier time of taking notes. She was always so friendly and helpful. Quite a lady. My heart goes out for your loss.
