Martha Ruiz Obituary
Laveen - 82, born November 20, 1938, went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2021. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Luciano and Eduarda Garcia; husband, Robert L. Ruiz; sister, Margaret Garcia; and brothers, Eddie and Alfred "Freddy" Garcia. She is survived by her daughter, Kristen Duran; brothers, Albert and Luciano "Lucky" Garcia; sister, Elva Gortarez; grandson, Andres Duran, Jr.; and granddaughter, Araceli Duran. A Memorial Service will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, with a Rosary at 2:15 PM, on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, 717 West Dobbins Road, Phoenix, Arizona. Arrangements entrusted to Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, Inc. (602) 276-3601.

Martha was always a good friend. She was extremely smart and always had a grip on anything to do with finances. I met Martha back in 1983 and we became very good friends. Thoughout the years we always stayed in touch. I know when she left here Robert was there to take her hand. What a beautiful reunion that must have been!

Martha was a woman who knew what she wanted. She loved her family very much and was a wonderful friend. I know Robert and her other loving family members came to take her home. I was thankful to know her and I will miss her. Rex Schofield
