Pedro L. Argumaniz, 86, of Sweetwater passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Snyder Oaks Care Center in Snyder. Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Nilo Nalugon officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Pedro was born April 9, 1934 at Baird, Texas to the late Juan and Maria (Lara) Argumaniz. He married Josephine Adamez October 12, 1957 in Sweetwater. Pedro worked for Pace Packing Company and R S & P Railway. He is a United States Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict, member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish and a lifelong resident of Sweetwater. Pedro is survived by his children; Gloria Ortegon and husband Frank of Snyder, Peter Argumaniz and wife Carol of Flower Mound, Texas, son-in-law; Darryl Hampton of Snyder, brothers; Ruben Argumaniz and wife Olivia of Grand Prairie, Ben Argumaniz and wife Concha of Abilene, David Argumaniz and wife Diana of Sweetwater, seven grandchildren, eight great-garndchildren, sisters-in-law; Margaret Argumaniz of Abilene, Cindy Argumaniz of Grand Prairie, brother-in-law; Benino Torres of Sweetwater and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his wife; Josephine June 9, 2015, daughters; Mary Argumaniz, Jeannie Hampton, brothers; Fernando, Manuel and Frank Argumaniz and sisters; Lala Ruttenburg, Alicia Torres and Felipa Argumaniz.
