Unexpectedly at home on November 1, 2019, aged 73. Loved son of the late Agnes and George Fraser, loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Jack, Margaret and the late Ted, the late Marie and John McGettigan, and also loved by all his nieces and nephews. So sorry to hear about Kens passing. I remember spending an evening with him in the Times in Christchurch and he kept in regular contact with us in Galway. RIP.

Ken was so kind and full of good humour where others might have succumbed to outbursts when put under deadline pressure. A really good bloke.

Sad to hear of Ken's passing. Great memories of our school days together at St Patrick's High in Timaru and our fledgling careers in the '60s at The Timaru Herald. R.I.P. Ken.
