Loved Mr Drucker on Green Acres! I really miss seeing shows like Green Acres and Petticoat Junction. Peace and comfort to the family and fans in the promises of Jesus Christ.

THANKS FOR SHARING ONE'S GIFT WITH THE WORLD....MANY PRAYERS and BLESSINGS

This lazy Father's Day morning, my husband and I watched the movie "Hearts of the West," in which Mr. Cady played Pa Tater. That led to a discussion of his roles in old TV shows such as Petticoat Junction; coincidentally, there is a decrepit old Shady Rest Hotel in the town in which we now reside. And then a long-forgotten memory struck me like a bolt from the blue: I interviewed Frank and Shirley in the mid-'80s at their home in Cambria, when I worked for the Central Coast Sun-Bulletin. What a warm and endearing couple they were! I was sad to learn from Google of their passing, but happy that they are now reunited - and grateful for a lovely trip down Memory Lane. And now I, too, can't get it out of my head: "There's a little hotel called the Shady Rest at the junction"...
