Vale Rose Mary Kirkpatrick, also known to me as Mrs Kirk, Rose and sometimes 'Mum'. Even with their own large family, Peter and Rose still found room for one more. I will always be grateful and feel blessed for the warmth, hospitality and friendship you gave me when I was growing up. Rose you were always gracious and kind to me and your generosity has been an inspiration to me in my adult life. To the Kirkpatrick Clan, I owe you a debt of gratitude for sharing your much loved Mother with me and I offer my heart felt condolences for your great loss.

To all of Rose's family & friends who were lucky to know her, we all here in the Gunns Plains Community wish to send our sincerest condolences & deepest sympathy. Rose touched so many hearts, big & small in so many giving wonderful ways. There are hundreds of children who participated in our annual Potato Festival Colouring In Competition over the years & Rose always gave her time to judge each entrant with such great inspiration no matter how difficult it was to select the winners. The beauty of a Rose is never forgotten & we will never forget Rose Kirkpatrick, you will always have a special place in our hearts.
