To the Kidd family,
I have such fond memories of being a new teacher at Lukeville Elementary under Mr. Kidd's guidance. He was so kind and supportive. As I approach my retirement after 38 years of teaching, I have Mr. Kidd to thank for giving me such a positive start to my career. God bless.

To the entire Kidd family,
I have so many fond memories of babysitting all of you on Aster Street. I wish I had seen Mr. Kidd's obit before tonight because I surely would have come to the wake. Mr. Albert and Mrs. Rosemary were such wonderful people and I always enjoyed visiting with them. The pic in the paper is how I remember him, always with a smile. May God wrap His loving arms around all of you and give you peace and comfort now and in the days ahead.

To Suzanne,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I know how close you were to ham and your mom. It's never easy to lose someone from our life and to know they are not here on this earth to be with and talk to. But rest assured that he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Your dad is now in paradise. Grief is hard so give yourself time and know that he is always with you in spirit. He taught you well, I'm sure. Otherwise you wouldn't be such a good person. I'm not going to say "my deepest sympathies, or "my condolences" etc. I'm just going to say to you "I understand".
Prayers for you and your family,
Christine Cobb

I remember Uncle Al and Aunt Rosemary both so fondly. Very saddened by his passing. Much love to all of you.

To Suzanne, My Aunt Ruth Shoptaugh Olive spoke often of your father, and told me he was her last relative of her generation in Baton Rouge. She called to tell me of his passing. I am Ruth Dupuy Shoptaugh's granddaughter, Cathy Shoptaugh. The description of your father's life is of a life beautifully lived and cherished. My prayers are with your family.
