Loving memories of Bunny, welcoming kids over to swim. Knowing it was often inconvenient, and doing it anyway. I remember Sabbath School and VBS, and your Mom's kind contribution. I know it wasn't easy. I'm grateful. A kindness to children is an investment that pays eternal rewards. I'm sorry for your loss. It is great, indeed. Bye, Bunny, we'll see you on the other side.

To the entire Lucas and Mellen family:
Bunny was such an awesome individual I had the pleasure of meeting over 20+ years ago at church. She had a way of making those around her feel special. I will never forget when she commented on my "fabulous" set of teeth. (I still laugh about that today!) I was always self-conscious about them and after our encounter, I was on cloud nine- small things!
Please know, Rosalind and I are praying for your strength and will continue to do so. We love you!

Your mother blessed so many people with her kindness. I think particularly of the years she cared for Nanny and Jean. She was also completely devoted to the care of her family and was interested in their welfare.
She loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was affectionately known to them as "Bunny". Praying that all the family will find comfort in the memories of her and know that others will also be missing her.

Dear Bunny's Family, my deep sympathies to you all. She was a wonderful, kind, smart, funny woman. What a beautiful family she raised. What a gift you gave her to live out her days at home and in the company of loved ones. I pray for your comfort and smiles with good memories of Bunny.
