Donald Ray "Bo" Guillot of Zachary, LA and native of McCrea, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on July 30, 2021 at the age of 74. Bo loved his family, friends, fishing, attending LSU sporting events, the beach, and spending time with his grandchildren. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Azalea Rest Cemetery in Zachary at 10 am. Bo is survived by his daughter, Kelley Stein and husband, Trent. two stepsons, Kyle Munn and wife, Alicia and Jason Munn and wife, Holly and his loving partner, Diane Smith and her family, Morgan and husband, Jeremy and Jordan and husband, Matthew. A brother, Lawrence "L.L." Guillot and wife, Gail; mother-in-law, Calista Smith, brother-in-law, Kevin Smith and wife, Sherri, sisters in law, Angela Lindsay and husband Duff and Michelle Dimattia and husband, Duane and many beloved nieces and nephews. Grandchildren, Drew Stein, Addison Stein, Catherine Munn, Jude Munn, Harlan Munn, Olivia Munn and Caleb Munn. Bo is preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Lisa, his parents, Lawrence and Henrietta Guillot and a sister, Jenny LaCour. Honorary pallbearers will be George Neil, L.J. Grezaffi, Marty Hughes, Harold Mosher, Lawrence Guillot, and Vincent Purpera, Jr. He was in the Army National Guard during Vietnam serving 6 years. He served as a Colonel over the training department at Dixon correctional Institute. Bo graduated from Innis High School in 1965 then moved to Baton Rouge to work for Baton Rouge City Police. He spent most of his career in law enforcement and then retired as a Colonel with Dixon Correctional Institute. Bo's family would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge for all the love and care provided to him during his illness.
