Mimi:

I was shocked and saddened by the news that Eben passed away. I pray for God to provide you great comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Mimi,
My deepest sympathy to you and your girls. Eben will always have a special place in the hearts of the Johnson family. We have so many fond memories of the years spent at the Atlanta Health & Racket club, and such appreciation for Eben's generous support of Marie & Katherine's deveopment as junior squash players.
With love,
Rande

I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful friend, husband and father. Eben was a true New Orleans gentleman, a kind and generous man who was such fun to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with Mimi and the girls, and may Eben's soul Rest In Peace. With love, Paige

Mimi and girls, I am so sorry to hear of Eben's sudden death. I was very fond of him and always enjoyed his visits to the NOLTC. Whenever anyone speaks of Atlanta, I think of Eben. You and the entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Eben was a man of many passions... Squash, tennis, family, business, Preservation Hall and New Orleans Saints to name a few...I was so fortunate to have played tennis with him either as a partner or an opponent since the 1970s...always very respectful ...And what a welcoming person...Just 3 weeks ago, he was helping me with getting some liquor set to me from Atlanta to NOLA...and in true Eben form, the friend helping with the delivery, Eben invites to his crawfish party and then says, "Bring your family and friends too"...To say the least, he will be terribly missed..I share in your loss...

Eben was always upbeat and a joy to be around. Beyond sports, he was a man of many interests which made him special.... he'll be sorely missed. Mimi and the girls are in my prayers.
